Southwark Council's finance
Southwark Council's finance 2013/14
To work out the tax for each band, we divide Southwark's total council tax requirement by a number known as the council tax base. This gives us the council tax for band D, with the other bands calculated as a proportion of this. This year band D is £912.14 which is £74,267,397 divided by 81,421.05 (council tax base).
