Advice for young people

There are lots of difficult decisions to be made when you're growing up. We provide a number of services which can help or advise you, whether you are the young person or the family or carer.

Careers and education information to help you make important decisions, whether you're at school, college or looking for work.

Drugs are a big issue for a lot of young people. Get advice about the risks of particular drugs and what to do if you or someone you know are having problems with drug use or feel under pressure to try drugs.

Homelessness unfortunately often affects young people. If you are homeless or you are worried that you may become homeless there is support available.

Sexual health can be worrying. Whether you are a young person curious about sex and relationships or you're concerned about any aspect of a relationship you are in, you can find advice here.

Teenage pregnancy and parenthood are a concern for many young people. If you think you may be pregnant, are concerned about it, or are considering it, we can provide support.

More advice for young people can be found on Southwark's youth website, whtvr.gov

Complaints and suggestions can be made by completing an online form. Anything you tell us will only be shared with those who need to be told, to get to the bottom of things and put them right.
