Local land charges
The local land charges team provides information for people buying, selling or leasing homes, other property or land within Southwark.
They also investigate any legal restrictions, which form a Local Authority search. Search fees applicable from April 4 2010
- Standard Search (LLC1 and CON29R): £215
- LLC1 only: £22
- Con29R only: £193
- Optional printed enquiries CON290 Each enquiry (4-21): £12
- Enquiry 22: £14
- Additional enquiries by solicitor: £30
- Each additional parcel of land: £30
- Copy documents (other than Planning Documents): No charge

All fees must be prepaid.
Cheques should be made payable to 'London Borough of Southwark'.
We aim to turn around local authority searches within five to seven working days from receipt.
Highway searches
For public maintained highway, highway adoption, highway maps and information regarding traffic schemes and nearby road schemes.
