Green Flag awards
Southwark has won another seven Green Flag awards this year.
The Green Flag awards scheme recognises and rewards the best parks and green spaces in England and Wales.
Seven of Southwark's parks have won this prestigious award:
- Southwark Park - 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010
- Dulwich Park - 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010
- Bermondsey Spa Gardens - 2007, 2009, 2010
- Sunray Gardens - 2008, 2009, 2010
- Peckham Rye Park - 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010
- Russia Dock Woodland - 2009, 2010
- Paterson Park - 2009, 2010
- Brimmington Park - 2010
