Southwark in Bloom 2011

The council is facing an unprecedented budget challenge over the next three years and as a result this year we are unable to support Southwark in Bloom. However we will still be working hard to ensure that Southwark looks beautiful, and encourage residents and community groups to continue to nurture their balconies, gardens and green spaces in order to make ours a borough to be proud of.

Schools are invited to enter the local competition supported by the Southwark headteachers executive.

Community groups can get involved in the 'It's your neighbourhood' campaign, which is run by the Royal Horticultural Society (RHS).

The RHS aims to support groups involved in cleaning and greening their environment.
