The Livesey Museum

Livesey Museum

Theatre Peckham are working on proposals to redevelop the former Livesey Museum to benefit local people, especially the young.

They have been working in the area for over twenty years offering high quality arts and education training for young people in Southwark.

The council is confident that their proposal for the Livesey, which contains space for three dance studios, rehearsal rooms, a conservatory and an outside space for children, offers a brilliant vision for the future.

Discussions are progressing with the Charity Commission, and it is both the council's and Theatre Peckham's intentions to implement the new plans as soon as possible.

Theatre Peckham's vision for the Livesey is in keeping with Sir George Livesey's original bequest, that it be to the educational benefit of the residents of the old borough of Camberwell.
