Kingswood House

Since 1996 the Kingswood House has been licensed to hold civil marriage ceremonies.

Kingswood House is an ideal place to hold a special occasion, from anniversaries, birthdays, christenings and parties.

Catering facilities

There is a large, fully equipped, catering kitchen. The kitchen is available to hire separately at a daily rate of £60. Please note that Kingswood House does not provide catering or catering staff.

Viewing

Viewing is strictly by appointment.  Late viewings on Thursdays until 8pm The centre office is open between 9am and 5pm, Monday to Friday. Please ring 020 7525 6442  or email kingswoodhouse@southwark.gov.uk to arrange an appointment.

Hire charges

Golden and Jacobean rooms. Ground floor

• Two large interconnecting rooms, with impressive decor, access to the terrace and grounds at the rear of the House
• Features a raised stage area, and use of tables and chairs
• Disabled access and WC facilities available
• Approved premises for marriage ceremonies
• Suitable for wedding receptions, parties, drama/dance performance and rehearsals
• A fully equipped industrial sized kitchen is also available for use by caterers at an additional charge
• Capacity 160 seated at tables; 250 standing
• Minimum booking four hours

Charles Suite. Second floor

• Suitable for intimate celebrations, small parties, and rehearsal space 
• Features a small kitchen and a large bar area
• Capacity 100 (maximum)
• No lift access

Security deposit

In addition to the above charge, a separate, returnable, security deposit of £200 is required. All cheques are to be made payable to: London Borough of Southwark

There is limited car parking to the front of Kingswood House.
