Help if you are homeless

A place for the day

Day centres are places that people who are sleeping on the streets can go to during the day. They do not generally provide accommodation at night, but may be able to refer you on to a place where you can find a bed for the night or longer term.

People who have found accommodation can also use them for support and advice. Day centres generally provide cheap or free food, laundry and washing facilities, activities, advice and access to medical treatment.  Services and opening times may vary so phone to check.
