Sheltered housing

People on the sheltered housing list will be given a band but can only bid for sheltered accommodation.

Generally sheltered housing is for people aged 60 or over, but applicants over 55 with a disability will be considered.

Waiting times for sheltered housing are generally much shorter than those for other types of housing, so if you qualify, it's well worth considering.

You must already be on the waiting list to apply for sheltered housing.
