Advice for parents

There are over 24,000 young people (age 11 to 19) in Southwark. Many stories in the news are negative, but most teenagers and young adults have good relationships with their family, friends and neighbours.

As a parent, you have a role to play in helping your child make the right choices. Read our information booklet 'weapons and violence: advice and guidance parents and carers' for more information.

More advice for young people and parents can be found on Southwark's youth website, whtvr.gov
