The environmental business awards are a Southwark Council run scheme designed to assist businesses to become more aware of waste disposal.
The awards can be applied all year round and last for two years.

The Business Advice Service on the Environment (BASE) project helps small businesses to incorporate simple changes to minimise their impact on the environment whilst saving money. The project covers five key areas to develop your businesses environmental sustainability including:

On behalf of Southwark Council, Global Action Plan are providing free environmental support for businesses within the Peckham Low Carbon Zone.
Termed the Green Concierge Service, it will not only reduce businesses' environmental impact, but will also help them to achieve cost savings and compliance with environmental legislation. This service is free thanks to funding from the Mayor of London to support work in the Low Carbon Zone.
