To ensure that you pay the correct amount, we recommend that you contact our building control team before making your application. We will be pleased to calculate the charge payable.

The charges for section 20, fire safety in large buildings or section 30, temporary structures applications can be found on page two of the relevant application form.

You must pay VAT on all charges, except charges for a regularisation application, even if work is to a listed building. VAT is currently charged at 20 per cent. To ensure that you pay the correct amount, we recommend that you contact us before making your application. We are happy to calculate the charges for you.
