Across the borough there are many public art installations, from sculpture, murals, light displays, to pavement and wall reliefs. Here are a few of the completed public art projects in Southwark:

Public monuments and sculpture association (PMSA)
The PMSA holds an extensive database of monuments and sculptures across London. Southwark's collections of heritage and contemporary monuments and sculptures can be found on this site.
The London Docklands Development Corporation (LDDC)
The LDDC has commissioned public art that appears around and near the river Thames, from The Navigators at Hay's Galleria, Tooley Street, to Deal Porters Canada Water, and Dr Salter's Daydream, Bermondsey.
Commissioning new public art
Public art involves many agencies, and departments within the council, and can be initiated and led by any service or department. There is no policy or dedicated funding for commissioning new public, and requests are handled on individual merits.
