Lambeth and Southwark dance network

Lambeth and Southwark have joined forces to promote dance through the Lambeth and Southwark dance network.

The dance network has been developed to give dance artists, companies and teachers, living and working in both boroughs the opportunity to engage with each other, share ideas, and develop partnerships.

The network enables the exchange of information and offers support to anyone involved or interested in dance.

Southwark Arts Forum

Southwark Arts Forum (SAF) manages most of Southwark's creative networks. SAF is an arts charity, set up in 1987 and now with over 2,000 members. SAF helps artists, arts organisations, and creative industries in Southwark to excel and to have a greater impact on their local community. They do this by providing a wide range of networking, information and advice services such as networking events, e-bulletins and one to one sessions. They are a strategic partner to Southwark Council and an advocator for the arts in Southwark.

SAF members range throughout visual artists, musicians, filmmakers, dancers, photographers, poets, film producers, graphic designers, theatres, galleries, studios, arts organisations, community groups, education institutions, council staff, local businesses, and more. The networking events or meetings are open to anyone with an interest in the arts of a particular creative sector.

Other networks managed by SAF are:

• Boundless networking events provide networking opportunities for disabled practitioners living or working in Southwark; and for people involved in the arts and disability sector in Southwark
• The Seniors creative network was formed in order to provide creative activities and events for older people in Southwark
• The SE15 creative network events provides a networking opportunity for creative people working in the arts and creative industries within the Nunhead and Peckham area
