Lost dogs

If you have recently lost your dog

You can ontact us on 0800 952 4444 between Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm, including Bank Holidays. Your call will be logged on our reporting system and you'll be given a reference number. We will check our records to see if we have recently collected your dog and we will also keep a record of your enquiry in case we subsequently recover your dog.

A member of the public may have already taken your dog to Battersea Dogs and Cats Home. You can also contact them to file a missing report on 0901 477 8477.

Contact local veterinary practices, animal shelters and animal hospitals. Telephone numbers can be found in local directories or on the internet.

If your dog is micro chipped, contact the relevant database to ensure that your details are up to date. Call Pet log on 0870 606 6751 or Identichip on 01904 487 600.

You should also check adjacent boroughs that deal with stray dogs:

  • Lambeth on 020 7926 8860
  • Tower Hamlets on 020 7364 5008
  • Lewisham on 0208 314 2098
