As a foster carer you are never on your own

All foster carers receive a high level of support and training from a dedicated team of specialist social workers and health and educational experts.

The support our foster carers receive includes:

An allocated supervising social worker from the fostering team
A generous allowance for each child placed with you
Practical assistance (essential bedroom and safety equipment, a computer and digital camera)
24 hour telephone support
Extra support in times of need
A comprehensive training programme for approved foster carers
An opportunity to obtain the CWDC (Children's Workforce Development Council) training certificate
Support groups
