Gardening to get active
There are a number of projects running in Southwark that give you the opportunity to grow your own fruit and vegetables. They are also a great way to get outside and get some exercise.
Dulwich vegetable garden

Gardening club for the over 60s.

Every other Tuesday from 2pm to 4pm.

Free of charge.

Gardening is in raised beds for those finding it harder to garden and there are supportive staff and refreshments.

Heart Garden
- The Heart Garden is an ongoing project aimed at adults with ongoing health problems including recovery from illness or a hospital stay.

Master Gardeners
- An organisation which trains volunteer master gardeners to help others in their community.
- Receive training and support before helping others to begin growing their own food.
- Or apply for 12 months free food growing advice and become one of the households supported by a master gardener and learn to grow your own.
