The homeowners' compact
The homeowners' compact sets out the ways in which homeowners can get involved in monitoring the Council's home ownership and management services. As a formal agreement between Southwark Council and homeowners, it provides a guarantee of standards for involvement.
The compact also includes guarantees and standards on other services that may be of particular interest to homeowners.
Its aims are to:
- Review the current framework for homeowner participation and feedback
- To ensure that every homeowner has the opportunity to become involved at a level that is appropriate for them
- To ensure that homeowners have full representation in the Council's resident involvement and consultation processes
The latest version of the homeowners' compact is availble for viewing.
The Compact is an ongoing project: please feel free to submit your views and feedback on it. The document is regularly reviewed, at which point any feedback will be taken into account.
We would also like to hear of any instances in which you feel the existing involvement structure has not adequately represented you, as a leaseholder or freeholder. Your comments will be considered as part of the ongoing process of improving this structure.
