Statement of accounts

The accounts show and explain the council's financial position for a given year, bringing together expenditure and income on all of its services. They also include statements on the pension fund and other trust fund accounts.

We are required to prepare an annual governance statement (AGS) to accompany the statement of accounts. This is published on the annual governance statement page.
