Terms of reference
1. The Southwark Public Transport Consultative Forum will be convened by Southwark Council and will involve representatives with a range of interests concerning public transport.
2. The forum will consider matters concerning all forms of public transport with the aim of improving the comfort and convenience of public transport and promoting sustainable development.
3. The forum will meet on a minimum of 4 occasions a year and will be chaired by the cabinet member for Transport, Environment and Recycling.
4. The forum will nominate a representative to attend the Southwark sustainable environment partnership.
5. Southwark Council will consult the forum at an early stage when preparing responses to consultation documents concerning public transport.
6. The forum will form working groups to consider matters in more detail as appropriate.
7. Representative groups will be asked to confirm their named representatives at regular intervals.
