Work experience

If you're interested in a particular career, and you want to earn while you learn, an apprenticeship might be the right choice for you. Apprenticeships are a combination of on the job training and structured learning, and you may also gain a qualification, such as an NVQ. Apprenticeships usually last between one and two years, and you may be eligible for in-work benefits while you are working.
