Garage rental payments and refunds

How to make payments or claim refunds when renting a garage.

Your garage rent is due each week. On this page you can find out how to make payments online, set up a Direct Debit or use a rent swipe card. You can also claim a refund if you have overpaid.

If you don't pay your rental charges, we can repossess your garage which will result in additional charges being added to your debt. Find out more on our Non-payment of garage rental page.

Pay online

You can pay your garage rental charges online using the form below.

Online payments for garage rental

To make payments you will need your garage account number and a valid credit or debit card.

Automated telephone payment

You can pay your garage rental charges over the phone using a debit or credit card.

This automated ‘touchtone’ telephone payment service is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

To make payments by using your debit or credit card, call 0345 6000 611 and choose option 2 for housing rents, which also includes garage rents.

Ensure you have your ten digit garage account number available when making payment for your garage rent.

Standing order

You can pay your garage rental charges by standing order. You can set up a standing order with your bank, either at a branch or using the bank’s online services.

The standing order can be used to regularly send the correct amount of money to us to pay for your garage rental.

When you set up a standing order, you will need to use our bank details:

  • RBS National Westminster Bank PLC, Southwark branch
  • Sort code: 62-22-32
  • Account number: 27540022

For the reference, only use your garage account number. This will ensure that payment is allocated to the garage account automatically.

Pay by Direct Debit

Paying your garage rental charges by Direct Debit means that the correct amount will be automatically taken from your bank or building society account when it is due.

You can only set up a Direct Debit online if you have a personal bank account. You can cancel a Direct Debit at any time by contacting your bank or building society.

We will need your:

  • bank or building society name
  • account number
  • sort code
  • garage account number

You can set up a Direct Debit to pay your garage rental by using the secure online form below.
