Description

Today, the London Borough of Southwark boasts twelve public libraries but how and when did the story start? To celebrate Dulwich Library's 120th anniversary, Library Development Officer Emma Sweeney will be giving an illustrated talk on the 19th century establishment of free public libraries in the areas now known collectively as Southwark. This event is free to attend and there is no need to book.
