London Bridge and West Bermondsey ward election 2018

Regrettably the local election in London Bridge and West Bermondsey ward was cancelled following the sad death of Conservative candidate Toby Eckersley.

The local council elections for London Bridge and West Bermondsey ward will be held on Thursday 14 June.

Electors must go to their allocated polling station, in their polling district, unless they have chosen to vote by post or proxy.

Register to Vote

  • anyone wishing to vote, and who is not already included in the London Bridge and West Bermondsey electoral register must submit a completed registration by Midnight Tuesday 29 May 2018
  • the easiest and quickest way to register to vote is online

Poll cards

  • poll cards for electors on the 1 May 2018 register will be delivered on or around 19 May 2018
  • poll cards for electors who apply to register to vote between 16 May and 29 May 2018 will be delivered on or around 1 June 2018

Postal and proxy voting

  • permanent postal voters and those who applied to vote by post by 18 May 2018 will have their postal votes sent to them on or around 25 May 2018
  • postal voters who apply to vote by post between 18 May and 5pm 30 May 2018 will have their postal votes sent to them on or around 1 June 2018
  • the last date for registering to vote by post is 5pm Wednesday 30 May 2018.  This is also the last date and time for making any changes, redirecting or cancelling a postal vote
  • the last date for registering to vote by proxy is 5pm Wednesday 6 June 2018
