Be Boundless

Now in its second year Boundless takes place within accessible venues and spaces across Southwark, showcasing disability arts, sports and culture to all. Southwark Council and Southwark Disability Forum are proud to present Boundless 2008 with support from Community Action Southwark.

This year's highlights

Boundless Exhibition

A showcase of art works from Beam and Bethlem artists and also a chance to see work produced by the Boundless 2007 resident artist Tessa Cooney at London College of Communications.

Boundless Outdoors

A sports day for special needs schools to mark the London to Beijing Paralympics Handover to take place at More London outside City Hall. The day will include performances from lead London based disability organisations.

Boundless Dance

Leading dance companies CandoCo Dance Company, Entelechy and Falling Wide present a full and varied day of participatory workshops for those with and without disabilities from early years to elders. Boundless Dance takes place at Siobhan Davies Studios.

Boundless Cabaret

The festival’s finale event of alternative cabaret, performance and fun. The evening will be curated by guest artists including film and art installation work.

Be Boundless

Boundless aims to throw disability arts into the spotlight, challenge perceptions and bring about change. There is an Independent Living Seminar to be held as part of the programme, with panellists including David Morris, the Mayor of London’s advisor on disability issues. Whether you’re into theatre, dance, music, cabaret, film, visual arts or sport we’re sure you’ll find something to enjoy during the festival.
