Bulky rubbish collection

If you need to throw away bulky items like fridges, furniture and mattresses, we will collect them for free with the bulky waste collection service.

If an item is small enough to fit in a rubbish bin, you don't need a bulky collection, so please put it in your rubbish, tie the bag securely, and place it in or next to your bin for normal rubbish collection.

Each household in Southwark can have up to 15 bulky items collected each calendar month. However, if you have a lot more waste to dispose of you could consider contacting a private waste company to hire a skip or provide a clearance service. You can search for these companies online in your local paper or business directories, like the Yellow Pages.
