Application forms
Householder planning permission, excluding works to flats
Application for works of alteration and erection of extensions, garages, outbuildings, dormer windows, garden walls and new or altered access to a dwelling/house or within the curtilage of a dwelling/house.
Full planning permission
Application for full planning permission for all new buildings and the change of use, conversion, extension and alteration of existing buildings, including flats, or land. Please do not use this form for householder planning permission.
Outline planning permission
Outline planning permission with some matters reserved
Application for outline planning permission for new buildings with some of the 5 reserved matters (pdf 27KB) of access, appearance, landscaping, layout and scale reserved for later approval. This form is not suitable for applications for extensions to existing buildings, householder developments or applications for change of use which should be submitted on the full planning permission form.
Outline planning consent with all matters reserved
Application for outline planning permission for new buildings with all of the 5 reserved matters (pdf 27KB) of access, appearance, landscaping, layout and scale reserved for later approval. This form is not suitable for applications for extensions to existing buildings, householder developments or applications for change of use which should be submitted on the full planning permission form.
Approval of reserved matters
Application for approval of reserved matters (pdf 27KB) following the granting of outline planning permission.
Approval of details reserved by condition
Application for approval of details, other than a reserved matter (pdf 27KB), required by a condition imposed on a grant of planning permission, listed building consent or conservation area consent.
Conservation area consent
Application for full or part demolition of an unlisted building in a conservation area (pdf 28KB).
Listed building consent
Application for consent to carry out internal or external alterations to, extension of, or demolition of whole or part of a listed building where the work affects the character, appearance or setting of a listed building.
Display of advertisements
Application for consent to display advertisements.
Lawful Development Certificate
Lawful development certificate for existing use, building, operation or activity
Lawful development certificate for proposed use or development
Prior notification - notification of a proposed development, works or operation
Prior notification for proposed demolition
Application giving prior notification of the proposed demolition of residential premises.
Prior notification for telecommunications development
Application giving prior notification of a proposed telecommunications development in respect of permitted development by telecommunications code system operators.
Removal or variation of a condition
Application to remove or vary a condition on an existing planning permission, listed building consent or conservation area consent.
Works to protected trees or hedgerow removal
Tree works relating to Tree Preservation Orders or trees in a conservation area
Application for works to top, lop or fell a tree or trees subject to a tree preservation order (TPO) and/or notification of proposed works to any tree within a conservation area.
Hedgerow removal notice
Application for the removal of a hedgerow protected by The Hedgerow Regulations 1997.
Planning obligation variation, modification or discharge
Application seeking the variation, modification or discharge of any of the terms and requirements set out in a planning obligation made under S.106 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 as amended.
