Community Project Banks

We want your ideas for projects that create, enhance or renew public space. Your ideas will help us decide what projects would improve the spaces in and around new developments in your area which can be funded by section 106. We can all benefit from new development and investment in the area. What physical improvements do you think would make your neighbourhood a better place for everyone?

If you live, work or study in Southwark and are an individual, community-based group or organisation you can apply.

Thank you for submitting your applications to both the Walworth and Peckham community project bank. Applications for 2008 are now closed.

Projects in both the Walworth and Peckham community project bank are currently being assesed and will be confirmed at the October community council meetings subject to agenda availability.

Resolutions were implementable from midnight September 26.

Once funding from a suitable local development is secured an officer will work with the applicant to develop the project and consult the local community.



Further information

All project ideas that meet the stated criteria will be carefully considered. We are unable to guarantee all projects will proceed as projects are dependent on availability of suitable Section 106 funding from new planning applications in the area or other funding sources.
