Your Local Recycling Centre
Southwark has about 550 publicly accessible recycling centres across the borough where you can take your recycling. Some are located at convenient street side points, others are in supermarket car parks or on council housing estates.
What can be recycled?
With the exception of a few sites, all local recycling centres have separate bins for each of these materials:
Some centres also have banks for textiles and shoes (Pdf 39.75kb).
Where can you recycle?
Use the links below to view interactive maps of local recycling centres near you. These maps enable you to zoom in and out and view locations of other useful services.
How to use the interactive maps
- Go to 'Find services near you' on the right hand side of the screen.
- Type in your postcode or address.
- Select 'Recycling sites' from the 'Item' menu.
- Select a suitable radius for the search area, eg one mile.
- Press the 'Find' button.
- Scroll down and you will find a list of recycling locations and details in a purple table.
