What is happening now?
Plans for the first three primary schools in the programme are well underway. About £30 million is being used to create 21st century learning spaces for

- Southwark Park
What happens next?
The next stage of the programme is to develop a SSF primary strategy for change
- This sets out the council’s long-term vision for primary education
- The council needs to submit this document to the Department for Children, Schools and Families by June 16 2008
- If successful, funding will begin in 2009
