Consultation on Children Missing from Education PolicyWe have prepared a Children missing from education policy (pdf 232kb) which is intended to inform children’s services officers, schools, governing bodies and other agencies about the policy and procedures to be followed in order to prevent and also identify children who are, or might be, missing from education.
Comments are invited from any parties with a stake in education of children (ie parents or carers, headteachers, governors, local authorities, faith providers etc).
Any comments are requested by Friday 2nd May 2008 in order to be considered and included in the final policy.
