Southwark Pupil Voice 2008
The 2008 Southwark Pupil Voice Survey is currently being sent out to schools who have requested to take part. This is the fourth year of the survey so we can build on the data that looks at trends over time and this gives your schools valuable information to support Self Assessment (and completing the SEF). The more schools that participate the better the comparative data will be. The survey is again free to all Southwark schools and analysis will be fed back in September 2008.
Following consultation with schools earlier in the year, we have made some minor changes to the questions in Pupil Voice. However, there was no real consensus regarding more significant changes, so none have been made. The survey this year is thus much the same as last year.
Participating
Already in?
If you are one of the schools who has already requested to participate using the return form sent to you last February, you will have received a confirmation e-mail on 3rd June. Look out for guidance e-mails and letters coming to you week beginning 9th June. Those doing electronic responses over the secure website will receive pupil passwords by post and those doing the survey on paper will receive copies of the forms and ID-passwords for pupils by post.
Last chance!
If you haven’t already registered your interest there is still time for you to participate. At this late stage it is preferable that your pupils complete the survey electronically on our secure website. If you really feel that this isn’t an option for you then you can ask pupils to complete survey forms but you will need to make the copies at school – we will of course provide a version for you to copy.
