What is Eco Schools?
Eco Schools is an international award programme that guides schools on their sustainable journey, providing a framework to help embed these principles into the heart of school life.
A group of self selected pupils form an eco committee lead the school through the simple process. They involve the whole school in measuring, monitoring and deciding how to make their school more eco friendly.
Benefits of Eco Schools
 The benefits of being involved with Eco-Schools include more motivated and well behaved pupils, financial savings, improved achievement and improved public image for the school.
We can easily help you to gain your Bronze award, through our "Eco Schools Action Day". We’ll then continue to support you, to get your Silver and the prestigious Green Flag award.
Eco Schools can also help you to meet the expectations of the DCSF's sustainable schools framework.

Following recent feedback from Children's Centres and Nurseries, Eco Schools for Early Years has been developed to meet the needs of younger children.
