Help and Advice

Three young people talkingThere are lots of difficult decisions to be made when you're growing up. We provide a number of services which can help or advise you, whether you are the young person, or the family or carer. Below is a summary of the information available on these pages.

Careers

Careers and education information to help you make important decisions, whether you're at school, college or looking for work.

Drugs

Drugs are a big issue for a lot of young people. Get advice about the risks of particular drugs and what to do if you or someone you know are having problems with drug use, or feel under pressure to try drugs.

Homelessness

Homelessness unfortunately often affects young people. If you are homeless or you are worried that you may become homeless there is support available.

Personal advisers

Personal advisers are on hand to provide help for young people on personal matters.

Sexual health

Sexual health can be worrying. Whether you are a young person curious about sex and relationships, or you're concerned about any aspect of a relationship you are in, you can find advice here.

Teenage pregnancy and parenthood

Teenage pregnancy and parenthood are a concern for many young people. If you think you may be pregnant, are concerned about it, or are considering it, we can provide support. 

Staying safe

Staying safe and out of harm is a priority for all of us. Bullying and threats or actual violence can be very worrying. If you feel unsafe, whether at home or at school, there is advice available.

Keep healthy

Keeping healthy is not difficult if you follow simple advice. Find tips on how to keep your body and mind healthy, including advice on food, exercise and general health concerns.
