Options Appraisal of Local Preventative Services

The Office for Public Management (OPM) has prepared an options appraisal of local preventative multi-agency services for children, young people and their families in Southwark. The options appraisal is designed to help Southwark and its NHS partners to develop services to meet local needs, as part of government requirements to develop robust children’s trust arrangements.

This work was commissioned by the community and geography task group of Young Southwark in conjunction with the child and adolescent mental health service (CAMHS).

OPM were asked to

  1. Map current preventative and early intervention services in Southwark
  2. Develop a set of options for the development of high-quality preventative services for children and families in Southwark
  3. Develop ideas, concepts and models for discussion and evaluation and make recommendations for the future
