Southwark Youth Council Events

Southwark youth council hold annual events to inform, train and exchange ideas with young people about young people.

Relevant to the lives of young people

Each event has a theme that is relevant to the lives of young people, these have included UN Rights of the Child, sexual crime and make poverty history.

Workshops

Each event has a mixture of workshops relevant to the theme such as self-defence, arts, drugs and sexual education.

Keeping informed, voicing your views and gaining feedback

Events enable SYC to promote our services and are an opportunity for young people in the borough to be updated on the progress of current work. The annual event is also an arena for young people to voice their views to decision makers and to gain feedback.
