Alternatives to care team
The alternatives to care team provides a specialist service to young people and their families in crisis where there is a risk of the young people being accommodated or placed in care by the council.
Family support and safeguarding service
The family support and safeguarding service aims to ensure children are safeguarded and that, whenever possibel children remain with their families and support is offered to reduce the risk of family breakdown.
Family resource teams
The family resource teams aim to help families before problems become too difficult and to reduce the risk of family breakdown.
Parenting service
The parenting service supports parents who need to gain a greater understanding of caring for their children who are aged eight years or under.
Family group conference service
A family group conference is a meeting that is held with as many family members as possible. Family group conferences are a means of helping families to find their own solutions to problems.
