What We DoHere are some of the ways we may be able to help
- We help to support adults with learning disabilities in Southwark
- We help with health care. Health care is what you need to stay healthy.
- We help with social care. Social care helps you to live as part of the community.
- We help with ‘transition’. Transition is when you are moving from children’s to adult’s services.
- We help if you are a carer for someone who has a learning disability.
Before we can help you we need to decide whether you are eligible to receive a service from us.
We have different people who can help you. These include
- Audiologists
- Community nurses
- Occupational therapists
- Physiotherapists
- Psychologists
- Social workers
- Speech therapists
We also work closely with specialist psychiatry services for adults with learning disabilities.
