Local services to help you stop smoking

The Southwark stop smoking service has information available for you about the most effective way to stop smoking, and will provide you with help and support along the way.

Stop smoking advisors will provide you with one-to-one support, in a location convinient for you. To find out where our advisor will be visiting near you or to book a personal appointment please call Freephone 0800 169 6002 (24hrs).

Stop Smoking Clinic

The clinic offers one-on-one sessions with qualified counsellors. Appointments are available during the day and early evenings, Monday to Friday. You will be offered one hour weekly appointments for about six weeks. If you stop smoking you can continue receiving help and support for up to a year by attending monthly groups for ex smokers.

Stop smoking services for pregnant women and parents and carers

Find out about stop smoking services for pregnant women, parents and carers. The service offers support to pregnant women and parents or carers with children under four.

Advice and support from trained pharmacists and practice nurses

Your local pharmacy or GPs surgery may be able to offer you stop smoking advice and counselling.
