Dulwich Community Hospital The Dulwich Community Hospital project is an exciting opportunity for a new, 21st century community building to improve the health and wellbeing of people in south Southwark and south-east Lambeth.
A range of health and social care services
Southwark Health and Social Care is to build a new community hospital on the site of the old Dulwich Hospital. The new hospital will give the people of south Southwark and south east Lambeth a range of primary care, community health and rehabilitation services. This includes a chronic disease centre to improve services for patients with conditions such as coronary heart disease and diabetes. Diagnostic services including x-rays, blood tests, ECGs and ultrasound will all be directly accessible to GP patients in south Southwark and south east Lambeth. It will also give a range of intermediate care services including the intermediate care unit.
Shaped by the involvement of local people
The community hospital has been shaped by the active involvement of local people. We will be developing existing services and providing new ones.
