Directory of services for older people
We produce a directory of services for the over 65s in Southwark. It is produced every 18 months and distributed around the borough. You can view or download a copy from our publications section.
Supporting people
The supporting people team provides housing related support services to vulnerable people, helping them to live more independently. Our service includes helping people to
- Manage their money
- Get training or employment
- Develop domestic or social skills
- Address health issues
- Keep safe
Better care, higher standards consultation
Southwark housing, health and social care are reviewing and updating the Better Care, Higher Standards Charter (pdf 240kb). This sets out the standards that the three organisations strive to achieve through working together to provide appropriate services for residents of Southwark who are over 18 and who have difficulties associated with old age, long term illness or disability and for carers who support people in these circumstances.
