South Bermondsey Partnership
The South Bermondsey Partnership is an innovative neighbourhood project involving residents. It means local people working with the council and other services, such as the police and health, to improve where they live.
Projects include more activities for young people, work to tackle crime and antisocial behaviour, investment in health and jobs, and sustained efforts to improve relationships between different communities.

Smoking cessation programme
In conjunction with the Primary Care Trust the successful South Bermondsey smoking cessation programme will be starting up again. The public places smoking ban has been in force for a few months and with the colder weather approaching, now is a great time to give up and avoid smoking out in the cold. Southwark's community stop smoking advisor will support you to stop smoking, provide free nicotine replacement therapy, and give advice and information.
The programme will run every Thursday between 12noon and 5pm from October 18 2007 until further notice at the South Bermondsey Children and Parents Centre, Tenda Road, London, SE16 3PN.
