Southwark Council has prepared a draft London Bridge investment framework to act as a guide to the development of new buildings and investment in new infrastructure at London Bridge.

As part of the planning permissions granted for developments at London Bridge, the council enters into a number of section 106 agreements with developers to provide contributions to offset negative impacts caused by new development.

Examples of contributions range from

The draft London Bridge investment framework identifies a number of physical, economic, and social projects in the London Bridge area which could be delivered using section 106 funds.
