Below is a timetable of the redevelopment of the Aylesbury Estate. Please note that dates may change as the redevelopment progresses.
January 2007
The appointment of Urban Initiatives to undertake an Area Action Plan for the estate
June 2007
Outline planning permission received for the first phase of the development in the south west corner
June 2007
Referencing and home owner buy backs start.
October 2007
Amersham community centre demolished
January 2008
Announcement of housing associations to design, build and manage the first 260 new homes in the phase 1a.
September 2008
Phase 1a commences. The entire scheme is expected to be completed in 2012.
