Geraldine Mary Harmsworth Park
This park provides an impressive backdrop to the Imperial War Museum and is the home of the Peace Garden (pictured right).

Facilities
Art in the park:
Check out the large stone obelisk sculpture by Robert Mylne.
Dog free area:
Parts of the park including the children's play area are dog free zones.
Gardens:
The Peace Garden was opened recently by Trudy Styler (partner of pop star Sting). This area is the perfect way to relax after a to a visit to the Imperial War Museum.
Informal games area:
The park has a flat grassy area suitable for informal games, for example frisbee, rounders or 5-a-side football.
Kids Playground:
Suitable for ages 2 to 12 years.
Picnic area:
There is a picnic area in the park.
Sports facilities
Basketball:
The court is free of charge and no booking is required, just turn up and play.
