Southwark's Parks
Your Park of the Week
Did you know that Southwark has 130 parks and open spaces? Every week this summer a Southwark park will become your Park of the Week.
Burgess Park revitalisation
Following the £6 million funding from the Mayor of London and the Aylesbury New Deal for Communities to revitalise Burgess Park, the project is now set to begin the formal OJEU (Office Journal of European Union) procurement process that will result in the design of an outline vision for the park.
For more information on the design process and to express interest, please visit the Burgess Park Procurement Page.
Improving Bermondsey local parks
Local parks in Bermondsey will be getting a facelift in the near future, and we'd like to hear your suggestions. Find out more about the Bermondsey parks projects and how you can get involved.
Local parks and activities
Southwark is one of the greenest boroughs in London. With 130 parks and open spaces there is so much to offer from healthy walks and sport activities to history and great picnic areas.
Keeping the parks clean and safe
The successful community wardens scheme has been extended to our parks, and the community outreach team organise activities and events in the parks throughout the year.
We try to deal with problems as quickly as possible. You can play a part in keeping your local park safe by telling us if you spot a problem. Use the online form to report a problem in a park.
