Open Mic Sessions with Performance Poet 'Beyonder'

Beyonder - Performance Poet

Have you ever wanted to write rap lyrics? Do you know how to deliver rap lyrics using a microphone?  Come along to a session below and learn from Beyonder who will teach you these new skills.

Teenage reading groups

Our reading group sessions are not all about reading. A session may include a creative writing workshop, careers advice, a book buy, writing articles for magazines, as well as a discussion of books.

We often have special guests too, like bestselling author Jacqueline Wilson. And we offer other things like our DJ and rapping session at Newington library's teenage reading group.

The sessions are for people aged between 11 and 15 years of age. You don't need to book, just turn up and join in.
