John Harvard library is closing for major building works at 5pm on September 13 2008

John Harvard library will close at 5pm on September 13 2008 for a programme of major building works. This will take up to 9 months to complete and the new style library will reopen in June 2009.

This exciting improvement programme has been made possible by a £1.42m award to Southwark Council by the Big Lottery Fund Community Libraries programme.

While John Harvard library is closed, Newington library is your nearest alternative Southwark library at 155 – 157 Walworth Road SE17 1RS.

Please return all items of stock on loan from John Harvard library to Newington library or any other Southwark library.
