Summer Events for Children 2008Lots of events this Summer to entertain and delight
Starting date Tuesday July 8 2008 and running until Sunday September 8 2008
Summer events are themed every year. For 2008 the emphasis is on keeping fit and healthy through exercise. Activities during this Summer will feature some dancing, hoola hoop workshops and community games to promote London's 2012 Olympics. We also have kite making, Chinese music, calligraphy, face painting, storytelling, drama workshops, storytelling and open mic poetry, something for everyone.There are activities for all ages of chidren from 0 to 16.

Olympic Fun
For children aged six and above there will be Olympic fun events to mark the Torch Handover from Beijing to London.
- Olympic Fun, Sunday August 17 2008, 1.00pm to 3.00pm
- Make an Olympic Torch, Saturday August 23 2008, 2.30pm to 4.00pm
- Olympic Book Race, Thursday 28 2008, 2.30pm to 4.00pm
