Fran Sandham - the man who walked across Africa

Traversa book coverMeet acclaimed travel writer Fran Sandham whose latest book "Traversa" is just out in paperback. "Traversa" is an account of his epic solo 3,000-mile trek across Africa from the Skeleton Coast to the Indian Ocean at Zanzibar – the first time in history anyone has crossed Africa solo entirely on foot by this route (at least solo apart from a disastrous donkey).
In the UK the book has been serialised by the Sunday Times and has received glowing reviews nationally and internationally.

After Fran's talk about his epic journey there will be a Q&A session followed by book signing.

This event is free. To ensure your place please pop in to John Harvard library to reserve a ticket, email Mike Allport or call 020 7525 1570.
